I'm a biology teacher with two years of teaching experience on various online and offline platforms. I have a bachelors in Microbiology and Masters in Biotechnology. I have a strong background in biology, as I studied biology in my high school and university and secured various A grades throughout my academic career. I have a diverse knowledge on various topics including knowledge of the human body systems and how they work. This ensures that you can answer any questions your students may have about the topics you’re teaching them Biology is a complex subject, so I try to come up with creative ways to explain the material and keep students engaged throughout class. I arrange fun activities or games that help students remember key concepts from their lesson. I provide students with notes and pdf and also animations where required. My teaching methodology is student centered. I make engaging lessons that present biology concepts in a way students can understand them. I make sure that students are engaged throughout the class period and encourage active learning through activities like group work or hands-on projects. I often use technology in the classroom to help students learn about biology. For example I use animations to teach students about cells or DNA and how they function. I also provide presentations that explain complex biological processes like photosynthesis or evolution. I often use problem-solving skills in their work, as they may need to help students overcome challenges when learning about biology. Mnemonics are one of the best strategies to relate biological concepts with real life and these help to make the concepts for students easy to understand.
