Rabia Ahmed

I am an experienced Teacher of English with a degree in both English Language and Literature. I would describe my approach to teaching creative and individualized to support my students needs and catering my lessons in a way they would most benefit from. I am currently a secondary English teacher and I know the struggles and pressure students face to get a good grade in their exams. Which is why I decided to tutor and help those get the grade they want to achieve.

Your very first lesson with myself will be a diagnostic lesson, where I will assess your current ability. I will share the results with you in the next lesson and we will work together to formulate a learning plan that will cover both your strengths and areas of improvement. Further, depending on how many weeks you want to tutor or how many lessons you wish to take, we will devise a thoughtful structure of our lessons together so you are aware and prepared each session.

During some lessons I will provide short tasks for you to complete outside of our tutoring hours and you will get detailed feedback on your work. There will be an additional £5 charge for this if you choose to add this to the tutoring. This is optional.
