I am a native Mandarin speaker from Beijing with clear and standard pronunciation. Beijing Mandarin is widely regarded in China as the foundation of standard Putonghua, and my accent reflects that clarity and authenticity.

One of my strengths is the ability to switch naturally between standard Mandarin and Beijing dialect. This allows students not only to learn accurate pronunciation for exams and formal communication, but also to understand how Mandarin is spoken in real life.

I specialise in spoken Mandarin and conversational fluency. My lessons focus on tones, rhythm, sentence flow, and practical expressions so that students can speak confidently and naturally, not just memorise textbook phrases.

I have experience teaching adult international learners practical Mandarin for daily life and communication. I also support bilingual (BBC/ABC) children in improving fluency, confidence, and structured speaking skills.

With my background in the arts and creative fields, my lessons are dynamic and culturally engaging. I enjoy incorporating modern Chinese culture, music, and contemporary topics to make learning more interesting and relevant.
