Depending on the level, I am able to format my lessons in the most effective way to help you meet your goals. My approach is student-led, adaptable, and responsive to the particular challenges you’re facing, whether that’s understanding core concepts, improving written work, or preparing for assessments.
For students at secondary school level, I offer structured, syllabus-focused sessions that align with specific curricula and exam board standards. I also aim to spark curiosity by providing deeper insight beyond rote learning, to help students develop confidence and genuine interest in the subject.
For university students and adult learners, I have experience delivering a wide range of support formats: from targeted teaching of individual legal modules, to more general academic assistance such as editing, redrafting, and research supervision. I have worked as a teaching assistant for graduate-level seminars, and as an assistant supervisor for undergraduate research projects. I always tailor my lessons to suit the student’s needs, whether that means long-term support through a degree or short-term help with a specific topic or piece of work.
Given my academic background in legal publishing and postgraduate legal training (LLB UCL, JD Columbia), I am particularly well-equipped to provide in-depth help with legal writing, research methods, and technical topics. My expertise includes a wide range of legal areas from coreLLB modules to more in-depth specialised areas. I also hold an MSci in Neuroscience, which allows me to assist with interdisciplinary or medico-legal areas when relevant.
I look forward to hearing to any potential requests for assistance and working together to suit your needs.
