I strongly believe that Biology becomes far easier and more interesting when students understand the “why” behind each process, mechanism, or pathway. Each lesson is therefore carefully planned around the student’s syllabus, academic level, and personal learning pace.
A typical session begins with a clear breakdown of the topic, using simple explanations, diagrams, and logical sequencing to build strong foundations. I actively encourage questions throughout the lesson to ensure no gaps in understanding remain. Once the core concepts are established, I move towards application-based learning through examples, problem-solving, and exam-style questions. This helps students translate knowledge into well-structured answers, which is essential for scoring well in assessments.
My lessons are interactive rather than passive. I frequently assess understanding through short discussions, quick recap questions, and targeted revision, ensuring that students remain engaged and confident. I also focus on improving scientific terminology, answer presentation, and exam techniques, which many students struggle with despite knowing the content.
