So what I do is that I prepare lessons before hand by creating slides that are easy to follow. I also create quizzes, games and homeworks to gage the level of understanding of the students. I have done this on other teaching platforms and the students were happy. In the slides we break down the topic into subtopics to make it more understandable and also applying the use of visual aids.
