Precious Olawale

I have over three years experience teaching Maths and science subjects for high school students. My lessons are student centered and interactive. My goal is to simplify complex concepts for my learners. I engage students using relevant visuals ,
games and assessment. I help to improve student confidence and understanding of each topic. I flow at the students pace as my aim is not just to cover topics but to ensure my learners are adequately equipped with the right knowledge and understanding. I relate well with my learners and encourage my students to ask questions. I help learners build important skills for life and decision making such as confidence, critical thinking skills, presentation and communication, reasoning, writing, problem solving just to mention a few.
I evaluate my learners during the lesson in order to promote reinforcement of what has been learnt and also to track student progress.
I welcome reviews with open heart as this helps me to know what I am doing well as well as areas I need to work on to be better. I consistently give myself to learning as well.
I am versatile using presentation tools e.g Microsoft PowerPoint as well as online teaching tools such as zoom and Google meet.
