Hi! I'm a current A-Level student studying Maths and Physics, Chemistry and Economics and I tutor Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, Geography, Biology across all levels from primary school through to GCSE. I'm passionate about the subject and genuinely enjoy helping younger students build the same confidence and understanding that I've developed through my own studies.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and completely pressure-free. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable — comfortable enough to ask questions, make mistakes, and try again without any fear of judgement. Maths has a reputation for being intimidating, and part of my job is breaking that down from the very first session.

Every lesson follows a structure that I've found really works. I start by explaining the topic clearly and in plain language, making sure the concept is understood before we move on. I then walk through a worked example step by step, so students can see exactly how the thinking process flows from start to finish. After that, we tackle a couple of problems together — I'm right there to guide, prompt, and support. Finally, the student works through a problem independently, which builds real confidence and shows us both what's been understood and what might need a little more work.

Being close in age to many of my students is something I see as a real advantage. I remember sitting in the same lessons, feeling stuck on the same topics, and I know how to explain things in a way that actually clicks rather than adding more confusion. Whether your child needs to catch up, keep up, or get ahead, I'll meet them exactly where they are and work at a pace that suits them.
