Prashanna Kandel

I have over 7 years of tutoring experience and over 2 years of teaching experience. I have BS in Computer Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics. I also have a MS in Computer Science and currently working towards my MS in Artificial Intelligence. I am preparing for my PhD in a related field of study. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade Mathematics and Physics. Also working at an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at the Universityof Bridgeport. I have via multiple tutoring agencies over the years as STEM Tutor and Teaching Assistant during my BS and 1st MS at the University of Bridgeport. I Have worked as Research Fellow for Yeal University, John's Hopkins University, and the University of Pennsylvania. I am currently working as Research Fellow at the University of Bridgeport. I have always a passion for teaching, so that is why I am currently working as Teacher and Tutor. When I start my qst session with new students I like to get to know them a bit better and give them a chance to know me as well. After we have that connection established I go over the expectations and results for the sessions. Things such as what they need help and what their goals are for these sessions. It can be anything needing homework help, to help preparing for a test to just gaining extra knowledge on any given topic. I have experience working with students of all ages, gread levels, and skill levels in multiple subject areas.
