Hi, I’m Pramey - a former analyst at Shell and a global hedge fund, with a strong quantitative background and a passion for helping students build confidence in maths and physics.
I studied Engineering at the University of Cambridge and achieved A*s in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at A-Level.
I tutor GCSE Maths and Physics, helping students build confidence, improve exam technique and develop a deeper understanding of the subjects. My teaching style focuses on breaking complex topics down into simple, intuitive steps tailored to each student’s individual needs.
Outside tutoring, I enjoy travelling and running.

My teaching style focuses on helping students achieve strong exam results by building a genuine understanding of the subject, rather than relying purely on memorisation. I work through the full syllabus for each student’s exam board to ensure they feel fully prepared and confident approaching exam questions.
I use targeted practice questions, worked examples and past papers to reinforce understanding and develop strong exam technique. I break complex topics down into simple, intuitive steps and adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and individual needs.
I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I also track progress over time to identify areas for improvement and ensure students are building confidence alongside academic performance.
