I believe that every student can succeed in maths with the right support, encouragement, and teaching approach. My lessons are designed to be friendly, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they are looking for help with homework, preparing for exams, or simply wanting to improve their confidence and understanding of maths.

At the beginning of each lesson, I like to identify the areas a student finds challenging so that we can focus on their specific goals. I explain concepts in a clear, step-by-step way using simple examples before working through practice questions together. As students become more confident, I encourage them to solve problems independently while offering guidance and constructive feedback. My aim is to help students understand why mathematical methods work, rather than simply memorising them.

Having recently completed GCSE Maths and GCSE Further Maths, and with plans to study A-level Maths and Further Maths, I have a strong understanding of the curriculum and the challenges students may face. As I have recently studied these topics myself, I can relate to students and explain concepts in an approachable and easy-to-understand way.

In addition to my academic background, my experience as a babysitter, administrative assistant, and long-term volunteer has strengthened my communication, patience, organisation, and responsibility. These experiences have taught me how to work effectively with children and young people while creating a positive and supportive environment.

My goal is to help every student grow in confidence, enjoy learning, and achieve their personal best in mathematics consistently.
