Poppy Barham

I am an A-level graduate in Sociology, Criminology and Business studies. I achieved A, A*, B and am now an undergraduate student at Anglia Ruskin University studying Primary Education. From a young age, I have aspired to be a teacher, and studying sociology hugely furthered this interest. My degree continues to develop my understanding of sociology through sociological studies, theories and research, particularly in relation to education, society and the experiences of children and young people - a key topic in GCSE and A level Sociology is Education, which I am fortunate enough to have extensive knowledge in.

Lessons will be structured but flexible, with each session tailored to the individual student and built around a personalised presentation. I really enjoy creating engaging presentations, so I will make them in a consistent format which are visually interesting and easy to follow. Lessons will also include exam practise, which is essential at GCSE and A level, with this gradually increasing as exams approach to build confidence and strengthen exam technique.
