Hello! I’m a native Chinese tutor with a Master’s degree in Art Histories from the University of East Anglia (UEA), and I love helping students of all ages and backgrounds discover the richness of the Chinese language and culture.
My lessons are student-centered and goal-oriented. I adapt the format depending on your needs:
For beginners, we focus on basic conversation, pronunciation (Pinyin), and essential grammar.
For intermediate to advanced learners, we dive deeper into reading, writing, idioms, and cultural topics, often exploring Chinese films, art, and history to make learning vivid and engaging.
I also offer exam preparation, business Chinese, or cultural immersion classes.
Lessons can be casual and conversational, or structured with slides, exercises, and regular feedback—depending on your preference. Whether you're 6 or 60, I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere where you're free to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow at your own pace.
With years of tutoring and academic experience, I bring patience, creativity, and cultural insight to every session. I enjoy seeing students gain confidence, improve steadily, and start using Chinese naturally in real-life situations. Let’s make Chinese fun and meaningful for you. I look forward to meeting you in class and starting this exciting journey together!
