I aim to engage students in the lesson by discussing the areas that they struggle with the most and guiding them to the methods and answers through conversation. I begin by explaining using 1 or 2 examples, and then giving my students questions they can go through out loud with me so that they get confident with the methods they are using and the reasonings behind them. I aim to engage students in the lesson by discussing the areas that they struggle with the most and guiding them to the methods and answers through conversation. I begin by explaining using 1 or 2 examples, and then giving my students questions they can go through out loud with me so that they get confident with the methods they are using and the reasonings behind them. I also prefer providing exemplars so that the students can try and identify where people are doing things right.
