Piers Baillie

Throughout my career, I have actively engaged in both research and education, developing a passion for sharing my scientific knowledge with students. As the founder of a marine research, education and conservation organisation, I have spearheaded various projects and educational programs, successfully delivering workshops to school students across year groups from Reception to Y13, as well as 1-1 tutoring internationally.

During the pandemic, I transitioned to online teaching, delivering lessons and presentations that were not only academically enriching but also highly engaging for students.

I have published a scientific textbook which is used in schools and 1-1 tutorials. This has often served as a valuable supplement to the topics I teach, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and insightful learning experience.

My academic background, including a first-class bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, as well as consistent A*/A grades in both A levels and iGCSEs, attests to my dedication to academic excellence.

My lessons maintain an engaging, fun, and academically fulfilled environment, helping students completing GCSE and A Level sciences, as well as students in earlier year groups.
