I plan my 1-to-1 Spanish lessons around each student’s individual level, goals and learning style. I begin by assessing their current ability and identifying what they want to achieve, whether that is improving conversation, grammar, pronunciation, confidence or preparing for travel, work or exams. Each lesson is then tailored to their needs, combining structured learning with practical, engaging activities. I adapt the pace and difficulty as the student progresses, ensuring that every lesson is challenging but enjoyable and that they can see clear improvement over time.

Lessons typically follow a clear structure, beginning with a short review of previous material before introducing a new topic or language point. We then practice through a combination of conversation, vocabulary, grammar exercises and real-life situations, with plenty of opportunities for the student to speak and apply what they have learned. I finish each lesson by reviewing key points, addressing any difficulties and setting achievable goals or optional practice for the next session.
