The sessions take place through zoom and are based around PowerPoint presentation for each topic with overlaid model answers. Practice questions and exam questions are embedded in each topic and the sessions are based on students attempting solutions to data analysis or explanatory problems, using exemplar solutions provided by tutor and tutor assistance where required. Detailed consideration of practical requirements is embedded within each topic session, including data and error source analysis and relevant statistical tests. The tutor uses a wide range of examples and analogies from real world science in the news or from famous events in the history of science. The priorities for the session are built around the requirements identified at the start of each session and the tutor then engages a wide range of different revision sources to ensure that students gain the required subject mastery and exam terminology to succeed. The tutor is able to offer support in Triple and Combined Science and Matematics at GCSE level, and tutoring in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A level. I have previously taught teh IB diploma and MYp programme and have tutored students effectively in tyhe sense subjects, including oversight of IA and EE projects. I have supported student preparing for Oxbridge interview and EPQ qualifications. I have also previously taught PE and can offer support in foreign languages. I taught science in French at a school in Paris and have recently attained basic competence in Spanish. I have been a Science teacher for 30 years and have taught extensively in the UK and internationally. I have been a full time online science tutor since 2022 and my track record in student exam attainment is strong, with GCSE students gaining grade 6 or above and A level students attaining grade B or above. My previous A level students have all gained access to first or second choice places at Russell Group universities.
