Having recently completed my own GCSEs with strong results, I understand the current exam boards, effective revision techniques, and the areas students often find most challenging. Because I’ve been through the process recently myself, I know how stressful exams can feel and how important it is to have clear explanations and the right support.

My aim is to make lessons relaxed, productive, and genuinely useful — whether that’s improving confidence, strengthening weaker topics, or helping students work towards higher grades. I focus on explaining concepts in a way that actually makes sense rather than just memorising information.

Sessions can include:
• Topic-by-topic teaching
• Exam questions and mark scheme practice
• Revision strategies and study planning
• Help with homework and difficult questions
• Tips for improving exam technique and avoiding common mistakes

Lessons are tailored to each student depending on their strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. I usually begin by identifying areas they find difficult, then break topics down step-by-step using examples, practice questions, and active recall techniques to build understanding and confidence. I also use exam-style questions throughout lessons to improve timing, application skills, and familiarity with mark schemes. I aim to keep sessions interactive and comfortable so students feel confident asking questions without pressure. Alongside teaching content, I help students develop effective revision habits and independent study skills that can support them beyond tutoring sessions.

I offer support in GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
