Pedro Durao

I’m a highly trained cancer researcher with advanced Biology knowledge developed over more than 8 years of academic and hands-on experience — including a BSc in Biology, MSc in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine, and a PhD in Cancer Sciences.

I currently work at the University of Oxford, where I apply the very concepts taught in A-Level Biology to real-world cancer research. Now, I’m excited to help students understand and enjoy Biology through structured, focused tutoring.

In our sessions, I use a hybrid approach:

• Hands-on practice with past paper questions
• Engaging slides, animations, and videos to support learning
• Guidance on how to break down complex exam questions and write full-mark answers
