Pedro André

My name is Pedro André. I am a Music Production and Performance (BA Hons) graduate from Bucks New University.
I am an experienced musician with a big passion for music and art, having been involved in many different projects and bands from the age of 15. My main instrument is the guitar, and I have been playing since the age of 8. I am also a multi-instrumentalist (playing bass, synthesizer, drums, and other instruments), with experience in writing, recording, mixing, and producing my own music and the work of other artists.
I have experience as an AV Technician and stage crew, working in events and live music settings. My main roles involved live audio setup and stage management for venue events and live music, Operating Audio and lighting equipment during events. I was also awarded Best Tech of the Year (2023/2024) during my time working in the Venue at Bucks New University.
I am fluent in English and Portuguese, and I consider myself at an intermediate level of Spanish (meaning that I can hold a conversation in Spanish).
I really enjoyed the opportunities I have had during my time in university to teach my peers about performance and recording techniques during studio sessions and classes. In the end, I want to do what my many teachers and lecturers did for me and help younger musicians achieve their dreams.
My interest in teaching music comes directly from the same people who taught me and influenced me to dive into diving in the world of music. I want to share the same views and passion that were passed on to me to a younger generation. In my personal experience and view, music can be one of the best routes to self-expression, and knowing that I am helping the next generation of musicians express themselves while sharing my knowledge and passion is my main motivation.
