I believe Maths and Statistics become much easier when they're explained clearly, patiently, and step by step. My goal as a tutor is not simply to show you the correct answer, but to help you understand how to reach it yourself, and become more confident in solving problems on your own. I teach students across a wide range of levels, from GCSE and A-level Maths and Statistics to undergraduate and postgraduate university courses. For school students, lessons can focus on understanding tricky topics, practicing questions, and preparing effectively for exams. At university level, I teach Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Methods, from foundational concepts through to advanced statistical methods, including probability, hypothesis testing, regression, modelling, study design, and interpretation of results. I can also teach R, SPSS, and Stata. I hold a PhD in Medical Statistics. My teaching style is interactive, patient, and encouraging. I welcome questions. There's no problem with saying, "I don't get this," and I can explain the same idea in different ways until it clicks. In a typical lesson, we focus on your goals and work through topics together. Whether you're preparing for exams, tackling a university statistics module, or learning R, SPSS, or Stata, I tailor our lessons to help you make genuine progress. I also offer data analysis training for professionals and organizations.
