I hold a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London, where I developed strong analytical, evaluative, and essay-writing skills that are directly transferable to the study of Geography, particularly in areas such as geopolitics, development, environmental policy, and global economic systems.
Prior to university, I completed A-levels in Geography, Mathematics, and Psychology, building a strong foundation in both physical and human Geography. My studies strengthened my ability to analyse case studies, interpret data, construct structured essays, and evaluate complex global issues. I also achieved 11 GCSEs at grades 9–7, demonstrating consistent academic performance across a broad range of subjects.
Teaching and supporting students has been a consistent part of my life, having grown up in a family deeply involved in the education sector. Throughout my teenage years, I assisted in my family’s childminding business, helping children aged 3–11 strengthen their academic skills in line with the EYFS, KS1, and KS2 curricula. While my support covered core subjects, I have always had a particular enthusiasm for Geography, especially in helping students understand how global systems, environments, and societies interconnect.
In my GCSE & A-level Geography lessons, I focus on developing strong case study knowledge, clear exam technique, and the ability to construct high-level evaluative arguments. I aim to help students move beyond memorisation by building real understanding of processes, patterns, and contemporary global issues. I bring patience, clarity, and enthusiasm to every session, with the goal of building not only subject mastery but also confidence and intellectual curiosity.
