My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. We usually start by identifying any topics the student finds challenging or wants to focus on, followed by clear step-by-step explanations to build understanding from the basics up.

I use exam-style questions, worked examples, and guided practice throughout the lesson to develop confidence and strong exam technique. I regularly check understanding and adapt the pace to suit the student, making sure they feel comfortable asking questions.

With one year of experience as a maths mentor and having recently experienced GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I have a strong understanding of current specifications and mark schemes. This allows me to give practical tips on how to approach questions and avoid common mistakes.

My aim is to make maths feel approachable, logical, and achievable, while helping students build confidence and improve their results.
