New vocabulary or/and a grammar point will be presented in a variety of ways and often depending on the topic and the student's learning style.
Extensive practice will be provided through a whole range of activities, games and role-plays.
Once the student is comfortable with the new material, we go onto writing practice, exam practice and a recap of the focus of the lesson.
This is just an example, some students will want to develop conversational French based on literary texts or current affairs.
I strongly believe that the teaching style has to be adapted to suit the needs of the learner.
