Hi everybody. I have returned to Brasil for some extended family time, after living in the UK for about 17 years. I worked in several areas in the UK, from hospitality to mental health. Completed a Masters in Psychology while living in London and worked in the NHS for a few years in several hospitals and clinics.
Prior to that I lived in Spain and USA for a few months, working and sharing experiences with colleagues and friends I made during the time.
I always loved English, learning and exploring the language, reading, speaking and using it in on my day to day life. I taught English in a language school a few years back but prefer the one to one lessons, tailored to each student.
I like sharing my knowledge and keeping my skills updated, so decided to teach individual lessons online while I am abroad.
All levels welcome. I use free materials for listening exercises, reading comprehension, grammar review and enhancing vocabulary. Always try to include the preferences of each student on topics chosen for lessons.
Also, I plan and base my lessons in your personal interests and goals. If it is a job interview, updating your skills, travelling to another country, sitting an exam.
We can arrange an initial free lesson to chat and discuss your targets and your current level. I am open to adapt my teaching methods to your specific styles and try to have a collaborative lesson where the student is always the centre.
