I have had experience in tutoring maths for kids aged 4 - 14 for 2 years during after school hours.

I aspire to make lessons as fun and engaging as possible by connecting to the students and identifying their individual needs, strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. I will cater each lesson and teaching style to the students temperament and level of understanding, and I can teach with patience and perseverance until the student shows definite signs of improvement and knowledge. I am able to provide extra teaching/practice material for a variety of topics. I aim to also show the student that maths need not be a boring and mechanical subject, but a language or way of thinking that can be very rewarding once appreciated.

I also am a native English speaker and have lived in a multinational environment for many years, understanding the nuances and challenges of learning a foreign language. I am confident offering lessons for foreign students who wish to improve their reading, writing and speaking skills within a matter of months.
