Many years have passed since I started my first job. I felt challenged by the structure and policies of such international company: BMW-Porsche-Christian Dior is administered as one company in Quito Ecuador. I worked as Marketing Assistant and enjoyed every single activity, report, contact with customers to measure service quality, etc. Every day came with a new task, a new discovery which was supported successfully by responsibility and punctuality fulfilling due dates.
After a year and a half I worked for an appliance factory as Marketing Manager. I applied what was learned in the previous company and most of all, I trusted my studies and experience attending customers. 9 months that I could cooperate in a team of 10 members that included sales people and Sales Managers divided by areas in Quito.
In The Benedict Schools of Languages, I drew on all the experience of two years working in Manager and mixed it with my language command to teach English and to lead the Marketing team in charge of finding new contracts with companies. 10 years sharing activities with a variety of ages, origins, and needs. Mixing teaching and administrative tasks completed the experience I needed to face the new challenge.
In 2016 I was asked to lead the Language School in a University at the north of Quito. More than 6,000 students, 66 teachers, and 4 members in the administrative staff are guided and motivated by my role.
I have faced a wide range of projects. Teaching involved, I have designed material for virtual platforms, programmed automatic-graded quizzes, and created oral activities for students at A1, A2, B1, and B2 levels.
The road ahead is long; I really hope to continue learning and cooperating with companies worldwide. I am eager to take on new paths.
