Hello! I am from Colombia the country of salsa and good coffe. I love to teach in a very creative way.
I studied Industrial engineering but I am passionate about languages, music, meditation and books.
Understanding a language allows us to express and get to know more about other cultures, one of the ways I think we can show respect is by learning their language and customs. This also will allow you to be open-minded and empathic with the people around you.
For quite some time I have studied and researched educational methodologies, applied to different areas of cultural knowledge, both in my university studies and in practice.
My classes are adapted to the level, needs, interests, and pace of each student. I have several didactic materials, and I try to base the learning on real materials: books, newspapers, audio-visual materials, case studies, etc. We will develop the learning in the 5 main parts: listening and reading comprehension, written expression and oral interaction, as well as grammar, and we will do it using case studies to facilitate learning and comprehension.
I make personalized plans for each person, in order to get the most out of them in a relaxed and pleasant environment.
Right now I'm learning French, which means that I'm also a language learner myself and I understand the process and struggle of learning a new language.
