I am a fully qualified Primary School teacher with more than 10 years of experience in the classroom and tutoring. I also have extra qualifications in teaching students with dyslexia and Co-occurring difficulties. I have an undergraduate degree and postgraduate degree in Economics, as well as my PGDE in Primary Education. I’m fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. I have taught in both state schools in my local authority area and at International Schools in Switzerland. I like to have a close communication with parents so that they’re fully involved in their child’s learning and attainment, I find that can make a huge difference to the progress of your child if we work together to help them achieve their goals. I particularly enjoy teaching maths from early years through to high school levels. I also have a good command of French, having lived in Switzerland for 10 years and am able to help students from a complete beginner level into secondary school ability levels, at spoken, written and in reading French. I am happy to teach in my own home in Stirling, or indeed drive to your home if it’s within 10 miles of mine, otherwise I teach online. I am patient and understanding, I believe that children can often achieve well above their current level with some additional one on one help. This can often clear up any miss-understandings that they may have, or simply teach them a different method to help them achieve their best.
