Pakize Bozkurt

Hello! My name is Pakize, and I am a qualified Computer Science teacher with a background in philosophy and more than fifteen years of experience in education. I hold a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status from Birmingham Newman University and have taught a wide range of learners, from young students to adults, both in the UK and abroad.

My lessons are engaging, supportive, and fully adapted to each learner’s needs. I believe that every student learns differently, so I use a combination of visual materials, interactive exercises, and real-life examples to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. I focus on building confidence, developing problem-solving skills, and helping students understand not just how to do something, but why it works.

I have worked with students with additional learning needs and understand the importance of patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement. My background in psychology allows me to identify barriers to learning and create strategies to overcome them.

For computer science and digital skills lessons, I use hands-on methods, coding practice, games, and projects, to strengthen understanding of key concepts such as algorithms, programming, internet safety, and digital literacy.

My goal is to help every learner reach their potential in a calm, encouraging, and creative environment where mistakes are part of the learning journey. I look forward to supporting you in achieving your goals and discovering the fun side of technology!
