I wish to provide the children I’m teaching with a calming and fun atmosphere as learning should be enjoyed, which is key to being motivated about it. The mindset I would like to implement in the children is independence as I feel that it is an important trait that everyone should have. I want the child to feel confident in their capabilities and I plan on doing this by giving the child independent tasks to complete after guiding them on how to approach it. I’m willing to provide personalised lessons as I understand that every child is different; I prioritise the children’s weaknesses and aim to make it their strengths. In the end my student should be able to work on their own efficiently, which is seen as success to me.
