Otto Ankarcrona

I am currently studying English literature with intent to pursue a course including writing and other creative aspects at university. Additionally, I am studying History in depth, covering British history with experience in other areas from previous years. My lessons would serve to improve a student’s confidence in the classroom and in the exam hall. While also being formal, specific and broad, my teaching while also including conversation and freedom to express an opinion which we can talk about. I have a moderate experience in teaching in different fields and I am optimistic and keen to gain some experience in more direct teaching. My lessons will be shaped to meet my student’s specific needs, while also being flexible and open to change if it would be beneficial. I aim to cover an overview of the topic, followed by specific analysis of texts and how notes can be applied to an exam response. In retrospect, I would be helpful in providing confidence for a student preparing for an exam or struggling with a certain topic area and in need of guidance.
