Oscar Gutiérrez

Hi! I'm Oscar, a qualified language teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, teenagers and adults from different backgrounds and levels.
I teach both Spanish and English. Spanish is my native language, and I have extensive experience teaching English to students of different ages and levels.
My lessons are practical, personalised and focused on helping students use the language with confidence. I adapt each lesson to the student's level, learning style and goals rather than following the same programme with everyone.
Depending on your needs, we can work on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading and writing. I always try to combine clear explanations with plenty of opportunities to actually use the language.
For English students, I can also provide structured exam preparation, including Cambridge B2 First, as well as general English and support for school-age learners.
For Spanish students, lessons can focus on everyday communication, conversation, grammar and developing the confidence needed to use Spanish in real-life situations. I can also provide structured preparation for students working towards the DELE exam.
I believe students make the most progress when they feel comfortable participating, making mistakes and receiving constructive feedback. My goal is to create lessons that are engaging, structured and adapted to what you want to achieve.
