I am an International Baccalaureate Graduate from Brentwood School, currently studying in America on a scholarship at Emerson College. I am a cinematographer, working on my Liberal Arts and Business degree. I have a strong background in English Language and Literature, Music, and Visual Art, where I continue to write papers and study media criticism and filmmaking at university.
My teaching approach is centred on helping students feel confident and prepared for English exams. I aim to break down difficult topics into simple steps, identify areas for improvement, and build lessons around exam goals, practice, and steady progress. I believe in creating a positive learning environment where students can ask questions freely and develop both their language skills and exam technique.
My Format: My teaching method follows a clear exam-focused timeline. I help students begin by building a strong understanding of the syllabus, then move into targeted revision, past paper practice, and timed exam preparation. As exams get closer, I focus on strengthening weak areas, improving technique, and building confidence so students are fully prepared for strong results.
The lessons themselves will feel relaxed, as I want students not to associate the subject with pressure and stress, so I encourage my students to be attentive but comfortable, and approach the lesson as less of a chore but as consultation time with someone who has been through GCSE's, IB exams and International University applications. I am here to help!
I can't wait to work with students in achieving good results, making progress, and learning new skills! Feel free to reach out :)
