My lessons are designed to make biology engaging, clear, and accessible for students at the K12 level, including GCSE and A-levels. I tailor each session to a student’s individual learning style, goals, and pace, ensuring that every concept is understood and retained.
I use a variety of teaching methods to keep lessons dynamic. These include step-by-step explanations, interactive discussions, visual aids such as diagrams, animations, and BioRender illustrations, as well as practical problem-solving exercises and quizzes. This approach allows students to grasp complex topics, including genetics, molecular biology, and cellular processes, in an intuitive way.
With my background in biotechnology and molecular biology, I bring hands-on research experience into the classroom. My work has involved projects on protein expression, CB2 receptor studies, MLH1 gene analysis, and GFP expression optimization, providing real-world examples that enhance theoretical learning. I also support students in developing exam strategies, interpreting data, and improving scientific writing skills, so they can confidently tackle assignments and assessments.
I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. I provide regular feedback, adapt lessons to their progress, and aim to cultivate both academic success and a genuine curiosity about biology. My ultimate goal is to help students not only achieve their educational objectives but also develop an appreciation for the fascinating world of science.
