Teaching in 21st century involved deployment of differentiation and the use of technology to ensure maximum participation of learners. These are my methods to get the best out of my learners. As a passionate educator, the first thing I crave to know about my students has to do with their favourite learning methods. As teacher, you can't teach a student you don't know. This helps me to implement the right methods in order to ensure teaching and learning takes place. Beyond the Visual, Audio-visual or Kinesthetic learners , the mental health of my learners is paramount to me. I devise means to detect the level of their learning capacity. Also use motivational tools to encourage where naturally the students developed apathy to learning or for certain reasons, have deemed it not necessary to be focused for learning to take place.
My assessment methods are also flexible in order to give room for full participation. When an assessment is rigid, students would be at a very tight corner to respond, but by making it flexible, every student will be involved and the ultimate goal will be achieved without anyone left behind.
On the top of priority is the Child Protection and Safeguarding, I ensure my learners are protected and safeguarded. Ensure they're confident in their safety with me. Another way I protect my students is by listening attentively to their observations and give adequate feedback. Respecting my students Will where such are legitimate is my core value as this help me to get the best from them.
