Ollie Wojcik

I’m a Year 12 A-level student with a strong passion for helping others build confidence and succeed in GCSE Edexcel Maths. I currently study Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics at A-level. I achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Edexcel Maths, improving rapidly from a Grade 4/5 in a matter of months, so I understand firsthand how the right support, strategies, and mindset can make a huge difference.

I was fortunate enough to have great teachers who helped me transform my approach to maths, and that experience has shaped how I tutor today. I aim to pass on those same clear explanations, effective techniques, and encouragement to help you unlock your potential.

I support students aiming to secure a pass in Maths. My focus is on building strong foundations, improving problem-solving skills, and boosting exam confidence. I know maths can feel challenging or frustrating at times, so I create a patient, supportive, and adaptive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether that’s revisiting key topics, practising exam-style questions, or working through tricky areas step by step. I also share revision strategies and exam techniques that helped me achieve my own results.

While I’m happy to support higher-achieving students aiming for top grades, my main focus is helping those who may not enjoy maths or lack confidence in it. I particularly enjoy working with students who are aiming to pass, as I find it really rewarding to help them build understanding, grow in confidence, and even begin to enjoy maths along the way.
