I can also teach English to English students!

A typical lesson would follow a format similar to this:

- a starter task to warm up the child (perhaps checking knowledge from previous lessons)

- main activity (follow a plan for the child to achieve language goals and make improvements that are individual. This means that the results are more successful.)

- a plenary discussing any questions the child may have, a small test or starting the following topic.

The aim of this layout is to build a relationship that is encouraging and positive so that the child wants to learn. This style of lessons helps keep a plan so that each lesson has a target and therefore the child can take something away every time.

Please note that some lessons may differ depending on the ability in each section.

I will follow the child’s pace, if they find something more challenging I will make sure I spend more time thoroughly going though it so that they feel confident in their ability.

I am fluent in English as it is my first language and I can understand Spanish.

The lessons will be conducted in English as this is the child’s target language.

The child can be set with tasks to complete before the following lesson and this is dependant in the success of the lesson and if the child requires a little more work on it, any mistakes will be addressed in the following lesson.
