My sessions are friendly, supportive, and practical, designed to help students feel calmer, more confident, and more in control of their studies and everyday life. I work one to one online, creating a safe, non-judgemental space where students can talk openly about what feels difficult for them — whether that’s academic stress, lack of motivation, low confidence, or problems with focus and organisation.
Each session is shaped around the student’s needs. We usually start by checking in: how things have been going, what feels challenging, and what the student would like to work on. Together, we then set clear and realistic goals and break them down into manageable steps. I help students develop practical study habits, time-management strategies, and routines that fit their personality and lifestyle, rather than expecting them to follow rigid rules.
I have many years of experience working closely with students in higher education, supporting them through pressure, self-doubt, and demanding workloads. Throughout my career, I have worked one to one and in small groups, helping students improve confidence, communication, and independent learning skills. I am a patient and attentive listener, and I focus on encouragement rather than criticism.
My coaching style is calm, positive, and empowering. I aim to help students build resilience, motivation, and self-belief, so they not only cope better with their studies, but also develop skills that support their personal growth beyond the classroom.
Sessions are flexible, collaborative, and focused on steady progress rather than pressure, comparison, or unrealistic expectations set together weekly.
