About me

Lessons generally cover basic grammar skills and understanding of how they apply to your use of the English language. Then we move on to different skill areas( writing, listening, reading and speaking). Generally we begin with introductions to concepts, understanding the learning objectives, understanding principles, strategies and techniques, class drills and quizzes to check level of understanding.

With over 5years of teaching experience as an English tutor with a background in science, I have been able to skillfully understand every student's unique learning need, and adjust teachings where necessary to enable them succeed and improve their self confidence and esteem.

Ogechi has an intentional approach to delivering value. My experience with her lessons left me not only better with the knowledge I sought but my confidence with expressing everything I learnt. A highly skilled and professional attitude but above that is her humane approach to tutoring. Ogechi deserves every 'THANK YOU' that's available for grabs..

Ogechi is a very passionate , dedicated and intentional tutor who goes all out to ensure that her students excel . She sure knows her onions . I highly recommend her . These days , tutors who are passionate about the job are very scarce and that’s why if you ever come across someone like Ogechi , you should thank the universe for making your paths to cross . She has helped so many people including me to ace the IELTS exam . She knows the technical aspects of these exams, the knitty gritty of the job of a tutor . She knows how to point out your mistakes to you without bruising your ego and she has this way of encouraging you to be your best while giving her own best . I have no single doubt that she will lead other tutors in any capacity .

I worked with her...taught her clients too, so I know how thorough and detailed the classes are, and how eye opening it can be for the language we speak daily to be broken down by a professional as Ogechi.

After attending some online classes in preparing for my IELTS, I didn’t just want a teacher who simply educate me or take me through the basics. I wanted someone who is carefully looking out for my success despite my busy schedules. By helping me through this and building my confidence level, shows you are just the game changer. I couldn’t be more thankful that I had you in such a short time. It’s also worthy to note how visible and accessible you are. We need more teachers like you who is always available for discussions.Keep up the great work!”
