Hello!
I’m a Psychology graduate with a strong passion for education, learning, and supporting students in reaching their full potential. I have hands-on experience working with learners in different settings, including tutoring in a local daycare, where I supported children with early learning skills, and customer service roles that strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to work with a wide range of people.
My background in psychology helps me understand how students learn, stay motivated, and overcome challenges. I use this knowledge to adapt my teaching approach to suit each individual learner, making lessons both effective and enjoyable.
?? What my lessons are like
- My lessons are structured but flexible, designed to balance learning with engagement. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence step by step.
- Each session is tailored to the student’s level, goals, and learning style.
?? Lesson structure
While every lesson is adapted to the student, a typical session may include:
1. Starter / Warm-up

- Encouraging student participation and thinking aloud
4. Independent practice
- Student attempts questions on their own
- Building confidence and independence
- Gentle guidance when needed
5. Review & feedback
- Summarising what was learned
- Highlighting strengths and areas for improvement
- Setting small goals for the next lesson
?? My teaching style
- Patient, calm, and encouraging
- Focused on building understanding rather than
memorisation
- Supportive of different learning speeds
- Interactive and discussion-based where possible
- Positive reinforcement to build confidence
