My greatest strength is that I'm very energetic and patient. So I lean on these qualities heavily while I'm teaching. I think my energy helps keep students engaged and motivated and my patience allows them to move at their own learning pace comfortably.

Student participation in discussions is paramount to my teaching philosophy andtherefore I must do everything in my power to encourage students to engage with the material, with myself, and with each other. I believe this hinges on my ability to create a safe and comfortable environment where all students know their ideas are heard and valued

The single act of impacting knowledge into the lives of the younger generation gives me utmost satisfaction and I much prefer this type of environment because I get to watch them grow and learn over time.
