I have over two years of experience supporting university-level science students through practical and academic work, with a focus on building understanding and confidence rather than simply delivering content. I adapt my explanations to the individual learner and am equally comfortable in online and face-to-face environments. I am a patient, encouraging and science-focused tutor who genuinely enjoys making difficult concepts feel approachable. I do not just recite information — I try to understand where a student is getting stuck and work from there. My background is in Biology and Biotechnology, and I am currently completing a PhD, so I bring both strong subject knowledge and a real understanding of what it feels like to be a student navigating challenging scientific material. I believe every student can grasp science when it is explained the right way, and I take pride in finding that way for each individual.
