Lesson Structure
Each lesson is typically structured to maximise learning and retention:
Quick Review (5–10 minutes)
We begin by reviewing previous material or going over any questions the student has struggled with.
Concept Explanation (15–20 minutes)
I explain the topic in a clear and simple way, breaking down difficult concepts such as bonding, organic chemistry, moles calculations, equilibrium, and acids & bases.
Worked Examples (10–15 minutes)
We go through exam-style questions together to show how the theory is applied and how marks are awarded.
Practice Questions (15–20 minutes)
The student completes questions independently while I guide them and correct mistakes, focusing on exam technique and common pitfalls.
Summary & Exam Tips (5 minutes)
At the end of the lesson, we summarise key points and discuss strategies to maximise marks in exams.
