I’ve completed my GCSEs and A-Levels, and I’m now a student at a top 10 university, which gives me a strong academic foundation for tutoring. I’ve always enjoyed teaching and regularly help my younger sibling with schoolwork, so I’m used to explaining things clearly and in a way children understand. My mum is a primary school teacher as well, and I’ve learned a lot from her from practical teaching tips to simple techniques that help children stay focused and confident. Altogether, these experiences mean I’m patient, supportive, and able to teach in a way that really works for primary-aged students.
I like to keep lessons engaging by using simple PowerPoints and short activities that help children practise what they’ve learned. Each session has a clear structure, and I include small bits of homework or fun practice tasks for them to complete before the next lesson so their learning stays consistent. This mix of visuals, interaction, and gentle reinforcement helps younger students stay focused, confident, and excited to learn.
