After assessing your exact personal needs, there will be tailored sessions to ensure your success in any upcoming exams and general language proficiency.
Course materials include 1-2 hour interactive video calls.
There will be visual aid in the form of PowerPoint presentations for basic tutoring segments, combined with activities paired with additional resources that can be completed and feedback provided during the session.
I will be able to read over any current and previous written work you have completed, to pinpoint areas of improvement.
There will also be the opportunity for "take home" activities - additional practice resources or questions that can be completed outside of active tutoring hours.
If you are preparing for exams, such as GCSEs, A-Levels, etc., I will work on helping you to achieve the best possible grades, by carefully following the requirements of your specific exam board, working with your strengths and smoothing out any pressure points. I have plenty of experience with tutoring specifically targeted at primary and secondary school level English exams, and I will do my best to get you where you need to be, with the least amount of difficulty or stress.
We will work closely with past papers and exam specific texts and questions, and the sessions will have the opportunity to provide feedback on what you find simple or difficult. I will provide resources to track your progress and will mark your exams in accordance to the specification of your exam board.
