Hello! Im Nina and i have experience in teaching English as a foreign language as well as Spanish to secondary students.
My lessons are focused on interaction and immersion. To prepare for Spanish GCSE, i follow a rigid lesson structure which includes practicing all areas: Speaking, listening, reading and writing.
For Non-GCSE Spanish learning, our lessons will follow a more relaxed structure and focus on getting you sound like a natural as soon as possible.
I as a teacher also love to provide learning and revision tips for all kinds of people. My priority is helping you learn Spanish, however that may be.

What age groups and skill levels do you teach?:
I work with students of all ages- from young learners taking their first steps in Spanish to secondary students preparing for exams, as well as adults looking for conversational fluency. Lessons are tailored to beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced speakers.

How are the lessons structured?
Every session is customised based on your specific goals! Generally, we divide our time between practical conversation practice, clear grammar explanations, vocabulary building, and realistic roleplay. If you are preparing for a specific exam or coursework, we will center our curriculum around those requirements.

Where do lessons take place?
All lessons are held 100% online via video call! Learning virtually is far more practical and flexible- it saves you travel time, lets you learn comfortably from home, and allows us to seamlessly share digital resources, interactive materials, and real-time notes on screen during our sessions.

What materials will i need for class?
You don't need to purchase expensive textbooks. I provide customised digital worksheets, interactive exercises, reading excerpts, and personalised notes after every session. All you need is a notebook, a pen, and an eager mindset!

How do i track my or my child's progress?
I provide brief update notes after every few sessions highlighting key milestones achieved and areas for continued focus. For school-aged students, i align lesson goals with their academic curriculum to ensure noticeable improvements in class performance.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
I understand that things can happen! You can reschedule or cancel any session free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours may be subject to a partial or full fee depending on the notice given.
