Hi! I’m a Computer Science and Mathematics student at the University of Manchester, and I offer online Maths tutoring for GCSE and IGCSE students.

My approach is focused on understanding rather than simply memorising formulas or methods. I know that Maths can become frustrating when a topic is explained in a way that doesn’t click, so I break difficult concepts down into smaller, clearer steps and explain them from different perspectives when necessary.

At the beginning of our lessons, we can identify the topics you find most difficult and build a plan around your individual goals. Lessons can include explanations of new concepts, worked examples, practice questions, homework support and past-paper questions depending on what you need. If you are preparing for an exam, we can also focus on exam technique, common question types and areas where you are losing marks.

I aim to make lessons relaxed and comfortable so that students never feel embarrassed about asking questions or saying that they don’t understand something. I’m patient and happy to go through a topic multiple times until it genuinely makes sense.

As someone currently studying Mathematics and Computer Science at university, problem solving is a major part of my studies, and I enjoy helping others develop the same confidence when approaching unfamiliar questions.
