I am a native speaker of English and I received qualifications from National 5 to Advanced Higher. I achieved an A for every English qualification and awards for having the top grade in this subject. I aim for my lessons to be fun and engaging and the lesson plan will vary depending on the age group. I like to have the first online session be about getting to know my client and their current proficiency in English, as well as their strengths and weaknesses within the subject. I offer tutoring for children aged 3 - 11 and secondary pupils who are I also offer tutoring for pupils who are currently taking National 5, Higher and Advanced higher. For pupils focusing on getting a qualification from N5 to AH I will prioritise looking at past papers as early as possible and identifying weaker areas so that we can spend time focusing on those. For younger pupils the lessons will be more creative and will focus on engaging their imagination. Primary school students ages 5 to 12 will have the opportunity to focus a lot on creative writing as well as the fundamentals to set them up for secondary school success. Meanwhile, for my youngest pupils the aim will be to learn English in a fun and direct way, helping expand imagination and learning through play.
