Nikka Joy Elizada

I have achieved my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English last July 2022 at Central Philippine University. I took the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers last March and on May as the results were out, my name appeared as one of the passers. I believe this qualification is the main requirement of your institution.
In my college years, I had participated in extra curricular activities like poetry choir, and contributing to our college's school paper. In my second year in CPU, I was given an opportunity to tutor three Chinese students for one year. In the last year of my college, I was assigned to have my field study and practice teaching in CPU (Central Philippine University). In the short period of my stay in CPU Junior High school and Senior high school, I was able to develop my communication skills and my pedagogy. Two months after my graduation, CPU Junior High school has given me an opportunity to be a substitute teacher in Junior High school, where I teach seventh graders. Given my ample training in college and my experience as a substitute teacher , I am confident that I am ready to work and do the responsibilities of a teacher and I know that your reputed institution can give me an opportunity to continue to develop myself professionally. As a young educator, I believe that instilling the importance of social involvement to the students plays a key role to their success and I am hoping you are going to give me a chance to put in to practice and to share to the students of your institution this thing I strongly believe in.
